About Us

Brownbill Case Management provides a specialist case management service primarily for individuals who have been affected by brain injury, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, complex orthopaedic injuries and amputation. We work across the Midlands, London, South East and South West regions.

Excellence in the field of case management

Our case managers have considerable expertise in assessing clients’ needs and with formulating, implementing and monitoring effective interventions to meet those needs and achieve client goals. This often involves assisting with arranging complex packages of care, coordinating rehabilitation and healthcare, procuring specialist equipment and facilitating educational, vocational and leisure opportunities.

The Brownbill Case Management team has extensive experience of directly employing care and support staff. Our recruitment process and department ensure compliance with employment regulations, such as arranging clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), coordinating employment references and checking right to work in the UK etc. Direct employment of support workers offers a stable, high quality and bespoke package of care that is instrumental in giving the client the quality of life they want and need. Where the needs of a client differ, alternative options are available, such as a care agency.

Our case managers are also experienced at representing clients’ interests with various professionals including legal teams conducting personal injury and clinical negligence claims, medical personnel and statutory and non-statutory agencies.

Our History

Kate Brownbill formed Brownbill Associates Ltd  in 1992 when she opened offices in Thame, Oxfordshire. Her original aim was to enable disabled children, young people and adults to live in the community, to lead full active lives and to make their own decisions and choices whenever possible, and this purpose remains the same today. Brownbill Case Management Services are now located in offices on the outskirts of Thame.

Through her work, Kate developed a strong reputation for providing a proactive service to her clients, and as the concept of case management within personal injury and clinical negligence claims developed and became established, more clients were referred to Brownbill from various solicitors at leading law firms. This necessitated Kate expanding the staff team and other case managers began to work for her.

The company has gone from strength to strength based on the delivery of a high-quality service which achieves good outcomes for clients. This means maximising the quality of clients’ lives with excellent and stable care and support arrangements, developing rehabilitation opportunities, and facilitating education, vocation, and leisure chances to achieve their day-to-day goals, whatever difficulties they face due to their condition and injuries.

Following Kate’s retirement in 2017, Brownbill Case Management Services has continued to develop a strong reputation for excellence in the field of case management and is well known and respected for our commitment to clients.
