Business Unit Ramble for Children in Need – and Harvey Came Too!

The Business Unit staff here at Brownbill Associates took part in a ramble on 13 November 2019 to raise money for the BBC Children in Need appeal and in particular the Rickshaw Challenge.

We all donned our hats, scarves, coats and walking boots and took off down a local bridal way called The Phoenix Trail.  The Trail used to be the railway line between Thame and Princes Risborough but now offers walkers, runners, cyclists and horse riders a safe, traffic free route through the beautiful Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire countryside.  We were glad that the weather stayed kind for us.  Harvey the dog came too and had a great time!

We were able to find a hostelry half way around our route for refreshments; alcohol free of course.  The landlord kindly presented us with some free chips as we were raising money for charity which were very welcome!

Our case manager, Mary Hopkinson, managed to be at Melton Mowbray when the Rickshaw Challenge rolled into town that evening and we are grateful for her sharing her photographs.

The participants in this year’s Rickshaw Challenge were an inspiration to us all and we were delighted to be able to donate £125 to Pudsey’s piggy bank for them.

Proud Ramblers!
