Case Manager Study Day - April 2017

Our twice yearly Case Manager Study Days are very well attended and received by our case managers who find the large range of presentations we offer on a wide variety of subjects and themes both informative and thought-provoking.

The first of this year’s Study Days held in April, included a workshop by Jeff Goodright of Jeff Goodright Training and Consultancy on the subject “Social Media – The Digital Age – Safeguarding Clients and Clinicians.”  Jeff is a former National Training Coordinator in Investigative Skills with over 23 years’ experience in the police service.

The digital era whilst providing many exciting opportunities for both business, social and individual growth also comes with many unknown and misunderstood threats to both client safety and to the reputation of professionals and providers.

The aim of the workshop was to help raise awareness and included the following topics:

• Digital footprints
• Identifying weaknesses in your client’s digital footprints
• Identifying possible risk areas for both our case managers and their clients
• Ways to reduce the possible impact on business and client reputations

The presentation left our case managers with plenty of food for thought and the issues raised will assist them in making their client’s, their families and those who work for them aware of the risks.
