Our Assistant Case Manager Walks the Walk for Breast Cancer

Our Assistant Case Manager, Michelle Russell, participated in the 2022 Walk the Walk Moon Walk for Breast Cancer in London on 14 May 2022.

The Moon Walk is an overnight walk that starts and finishes at Clapham Common and is 26.2 miles, the same distance as a marathon and takes in many of the iconic sights of London.

Michelle completed the overnight walk in an amazing eight hours.  Michelle, who sadly has lost a close family member and friend to breast cancer, said “I have done the walk because I want to make a difference.  I’m inspired by the work of Walk the Walk and wanted to support them by raising money as part of my participation in the MoonWalk London 2022.”

So far Michelle has raised almost £500 which is a magnificent amount.

Well done Michelle and we hope that the sore feet and legs feel better soon!
