Our client enjoying his Sensory Unit

Our client Harry clearly loves his new sensory unit.

A sensory room or unit provides physical and mental stimulus for children with physical disabilities, developmental delays and sensory impairments. For children with physical disabilities, interaction with sensory stimuli can help them to develop their sight, sound, touch and hearing, as well as encouraging independence.

Mary Hopkinson, Harry’s case manager, said “Harry really enjoys his new sensory unit which, being mobile, he is able to use in all areas of the house and garden.”

Another example of where our case managers support our clients and their families to put in place equipment to improve their quality of life.
