BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy (First Class)

In and around the Midlands area.

Beccy is an experienced physiotherapist with a history of working within the NHS, military services and private practice. She is proficient in treating complex conditions and managing clients with combined physical and psychological conditions. Beccy has worked as a case manager since 2009 and specialises in working with adults and adolescents with acquired brain injury, complex orthopaedic injury and amputation. She began her case management career in Vancouver, Canada. During this time she focused on managing clients injured at work and in road traffic accidents. There she gained significant experience in vocational rehabilitation, which included functional capacity evaluations, work site visits, job demand analyses and return to work planning. She was also involved in gradually integrating clients back into the workplace, often in new and adapted roles. Beccy is also experienced in addressing the psychological factors that are associated with long-term injuries and the complexities of chronic pain. She frequently works with clients who need large support teams; therefore she is competent in the recruitment, coordination and ongoing management of skilled staff.
